I was approached to write a piece about my story of liberation in my identity as a queer, Black woman for Love What Matters. It was a very vulnerable moment for me, sharing some of the heartbreak and healing of my journey to love and happiness.
In 2020 I was introduced to the wonderful artists at The Epic Players and luckily for me they keep having me back! From virtual performances to finally getting to perform live with them at Lincoln Center, I have been in awe of artists and leaders in this community.
